HAZLET, NJ - Stop! Don't toss last year's only-worn-once Hallowe'en costumes! Swap them for a "new" one!

If you have children's and teen Halloween costumes in good repair, you can donate them to the Hallowe'en Costume Swap sponsored by the Monmouth County Library Teen and Young Adult Program - and get a "new" costume for free in return.

Costumes can be dropped off at the Hazlet Township Library, 251 Middle Road. The collection begins Friday, August 20 and will run through Saturday, October 2. Children's and teen costumes should be clean and in ziplock bags with all accessories.

The free costume exchange will then be held on Saturday, October 9 from noon to 4 p.m. When you drop off your donated costume at the Hazlet Library, please register for the swap.

Hours at the Hazlet Library are: 1 to 9 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays; 1 to 5 p.m. Fridays, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays. The library is closed on Sundays.

For more information on the costume swap, please call the Hazlet Library at 732-264-7164. For more information on programming throughout the Monmouth County Library System, please visit our website at www.monmouthcountylib.org
