MIDDLETOWN, NJ - Atlantic Highlands Arts Council member and FilmOneFest judge Victor Zak is presenting a free film series during June at Middletown Township Main Library, 55 New Monmouth Rd., Middletown.  Victor Zak offers the inside scoop on the films directed by Alfred Hitchcock and starring Cary Grant on the next three Tuesday evenings at 7 pm.

These movies made film history in the 1940s and '50s. When the "master of suspense" teamed with Hollywood's prince of charm, he tapped into a darker side of Grant that audiences rarely saw. Together, they conjured silver-screen magic that continues to bewitch audiences.

The lineup includes:
Tuesday, June 15, 7:00 pm - Notorious" (1946), a tale of espionage and twisted love that features the high-wattage pairing of Grant and Ingrid Bergman;

Tuesday, June 22, 7:00 pm the comedy-thriller To Catch a Thief (1955), Hitchcock's most gorgeous color film and a big comeback for Grant;

Tuesday, June 29, 7:00 pm North by Northwest (1959), Hitchcock's ultimate take on spies and ice-cold blondes, with a signature performance by Grant as a  not-so-innocent man on the run.

Come at 6:45 for coffee and dessert - Victor Zak will talk a little about each film beginning at 7:00 pm, then stay for a brief discussion and Q&A following the film
