MANALAPAN – A concert of traditional Irish music complete with fiddle, harp, flute, guitar, banjo and
tin whistle will be presented virtually by the Monmouth County Library on Sunday, March 14 at 2 p.m.
No advance registration is required for this musical event. Interested persons should visit MonmouthCountyLib.org, scroll to Upcoming Events and click at the designated site on Bound for Amerikay, the Irish Emigrant Experience.
Presented by Kathy DeAngelo and Dennis Gormley, the program is the story of any ethnic group that has struggled against political upheaval and repression in their own homeland, then persevered and built a better life in America.
The award winning duo has been performing together for more than 40 years and present the story from the Irish point of view.
