County Freeholders to organize for 2020
Sine Die, organization meeting will be held Jan. 7
FREEHOLD, NJ – The Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders will hold its annual organization meeting at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 7 at the Biotechnology High School, 5000 Kozloski Road.
Shaun Golden will be sworn in as Monmouth County Sheriff. Thomas A. Arnone and Dominick DiRocco will be sworn in as members of the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders.
Golden, Arnone and DiRocco were elected to three-year terms in their respective positions in November 2019. Golden will be sworn into his fourth term as Sheriff, Arnone will be sworn into his fourth term as Freeholder and DiRocco will be sworn into his first term as Freeholder.
Earlier that same day at 11 a.m., the 2019 Board of Chosen Freeholders will hold its annual Sine Die meeting in the Hall of Records at 1 East Main Street. The meeting will conclude financial and other business matters for 2019. The term Sine Die means “without assigning a day for a further meeting or hearing.”
