RUMSON, NJ – Although they are rivals on the basketball court, the girls’ teams at Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School and Red Bank Regional High School have joined forces to raise funds for breast cancer research.

The RFH and RBR Girls’ Basketball Teams, sporting the color of choice for Thursday’s game.

On Thursday, February 2nd, the teams from both schools will face off in a “Pink Out” basketball game, also known as “Shoot for a Cure.” Spectators are encouraged to dress in pink, and prizes will be awarded for “best-dressed pink fan” and “best-dressed pink group.” Pink t-shirts and other pink items will be available for sale at the game, with all proceeds being donated to the Jacqueline M. Wilentz Comprehensive Breast Center at Monmouth Medical Center.

The girls’ Junior Varsity game will begin at 5:00 p.m., followed by the Varsity game at 6:30 p.m. Donations may be made at the game, or checks payable to the “Jacqueline M. Wilentz Breast Center” may be mailed to “Top of the Key Club”, c/o Tony Miller, 151 Bingham Avenue, Rumson, NJ 07760.
